Makalu Dental Clinic is a nonprofit dental care initiative located in the rural heartlands of Nepal. Established by a group of 27 dedicated individuals, our mission is to bring affordable, quality dental care to a community where oral health is rapidly declining due to the rising popularity of junk food and the lack of access to proper dental services.

To create a healthier and brighter future for the people in our community by providing essential dental care and fostering awareness about oral hygiene.
Why We Exist
Rural Challenges: In our community, most residents lack a steady income and cannot afford basic dental treatments.
Oral Health Crisis: The increasing consumption of junk food has severely impacted the oral health of both young and elderly individuals.
Community-Driven: Understanding these challenges, we united to raise funds and establish Makalu Dental Clinic to offer free or highly subsidized dental services.
